Creating lasting impact beyond housing

Landscape Preservation

As part of our commitment to local partnerships and landscape preservation, Fountain Residential Partners contributed $80,000 to replant a 60-year-old oak tree, now thriving in the courtyard of Prado Student Living, our 472-bed student community near the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Additionally, we donated $10,000 to preserve a pine tree within the courtyard of our 687-bed apartment community near the University of Texas at Arlington.

Underpass Beautification Project

Fountain Residential Partner’s partnered with the University of Houston, Houston City Council, mayor’s office, county commissioner’s office and TxDOT to create a collaborative mural at the I-45 underpass at Cullen Boulevard. This collaborative effort provided an opportunity for the graphic design students at The University of Houston to design the mural as part of their semester project while beautifying the area.  Fountain Residential Partner’s inspired the vision and contributed over $80,000.00 to provide painting supplies and have lights installed in the underpass.

“They addressed our concerns and worked with the community to alleviate any potential future issues as it relates to traffic, pedestrian activity, and even changed the architecture of the building to better fit in with the surrounding single-family homes.”

Dormless Program

Fountain Residential Partners partnered with the University of Texas at Arlington to create a program providing temporary housing for financially challenged students. Dedicated apartment units were set aside for students facing housing insecurity, offering them a stable place to live while completing their studies. In collaboration with the Department of Student Affairs, UTA identified eligible students and assigned them to these free housing units for the duration of the academic term.

Affordable Housing

North 116 Flats, located in Amherst, MA, serves the University of Massachusetts community. Developed by Fountain Residential Partners in partnership with MassHousing and the state’s Chapter 40B affordable housing program, the 150-unit property dedicates 25% of its units to qualified households earning no more than 80% of the area median income.

Emergency Assistance Fundraiser

848 Mitchell, a 687-bed student apartment community, partnered with the University of Texas at Arlington to host a fundraiser benefiting the Student Emergency Assistance Fund. This fund supports currently enrolled students facing financial hardship due to unforeseen circumstances, helping them stay on track academically. The program ensures that students experiencing temporary setbacks can continue their studies without disruption.
