Fountain Residential Partners has tapped Greystar Student Living to manage Beechwood Village, a cottage-style housing development in Fayetteville, Ark. The 670-bed, eco-friendly new urban community will serve the University of Arkansas, located about a mile away.

Beechwood Village will feature an array of one-, two- and four-bedroom modern cottages providing living space ranging from 514 to 1,754 square feet. Award-winning local architecture firm Modus Studio designed Beechwood Village to encompass a range of building types surrounding a central park in a modern cottage-style development.

“Greystar is excited about this opportunity and is focused on creating a sense of community for the students,” Michelle Fuller, managing director of Greystar Student Living, told MHN. “Beechwood Village is a beautiful development with a neighborhood feel to it. The team will be coordinating events for the students so they can maximize their experience at Beechwood Village ”

A major part of the community’s appeal will be its luxury amenities. Beechwood Village will offer an 8,000-square-foot clubhouse with game room, Internet café with Wi-Fi and private study spaces. Taking its inspiration from clubs, the fitness center will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, weight machines and the latest cardiovascular equipment. Outside, a resort-style swimming pool with in-water lounge chairs, tanning deck, grilling stations, lounge areas and fire pit will beckon to residents. Green spaces, a recycling program and roommate matching services will also be part of the pet-friendly community.

Fully furnished floor plans will offer 50-inch flat-screen TVs, modern study desks, comfortable low-profile sofas, lounge chairs and more. Apartments will include kitchens with islands, walk-in closets and high-capacity washers and dryers. Quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and wood-style plank flooring are among the additional designer interior features offered by Beechwood Village. Select floor plans will provide billiards tables, wet bars and private balconies.

The community won’t skimp on green features. Energy-efficient lighting, low-VOC paint, dual-pane windows and Energy Star appliances will be part of each apartment home. The community is leasing for spring and fall, 2016.

“We are delighted to continue our relationship with Fountain Residential,” Fuller said. “Beechwood Village has a great location close to the U. of A. campus, Razorback Stadium and near a variety of biking and hiking trails on Razorback Greenway.”

Added Brent Little, president of Fountain Residential, said, “Beechwood Village not only offers unique architecture and upgraded apartment homes, but the location to campus is ideal for students. The community has been designed to feel like a true neighborhood, with pedestrian-friendly streets, recreational spaces, convenient amenities and well-appointed apartment homes.”

Dallas-based Greystar Student Living’s student platform provides a high level of operational sophistication, technologies and purchasing power for the project, Fuller noted.

“Greystar will also be able to leverage its local market expertise and talent to provide best in class service and strategy to support the project,” she said
